DESCRIPTION When the system determines that the vehicle is driving straight ahead based on signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly), etc., the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly performs self-diagnosis to check if the sensor beam axis is misaligned. C1A11 is output when it is determined that the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly beam axis is misaligned. If sensor beam axis adjustment is not performed after installing a new millimeter wave radar sensor assembly, C1A14 is output.

PROCEDURE
(a) Check if the stored DTCs are current DTCs. (b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. (c) Turn the ignition switch to ON. (d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Radar Cruise 2 / Trouble Codes. Click here (e) Check for DTCs. Click here
(a) Check the operating conditions of the vehicle. HINT: DTC C1A11 may be stored if the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly beam axis is temporarily misaligned due to the vehicle being overloaded.
(a) Check the wheel alignment (toe). Click here HINT: DTC C1A11 may be stored if the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly beam axis is misaligned due to incorrect wheel alignment (toe).
(a) Adjust the alignment (toe) of the wheels. Click here
(a) Perform millimeter wave radar sensor assembly adjustment. Click here
(a) Clear the DTCs. Click here (b) Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met. HINT: If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
(c) Check for DTCs. Click here
(a) Check that the bracket of the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly is not deformed. Click here HINT: If the bracket is deformed, replace the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly.

(a) Check for DTCs related to misalignment of millimeter wave radar sensor assembly. HINT: If only history DTCs are stored, they may have stored due to a temporarily condition such as overloading of the vehicle, and the system returned to normal when beam axis learning was performed.
