(b) Check the fastening function of the child restraint system. NOTICE: The check should be performed with the outer belt installed. (1) When the belt is pulled out fully, the belt should automatically start to retract. (2) After the belt has fully retracted, the belt should be able to be pulled out and retracted again. If the operation is not as specified, replace the belt assembly. Removal REMOVAL CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT HINT:
PROCEDURE 1. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (See page ) 2. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
3. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH (a) Partially remove the rear door opening trim weatherstrip so that the lower quarter trim panel assembly LH and front quarter trim panel assembly LH can be removed (See page ). 4. REMOVE NO. 1 BOX SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (w/ Woofer)
5. REMOVE LOWER QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH (a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.
6. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH
7. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (a) Remove the nut and disconnect the rear seat outer belt assembly.
8. REMOVE REAR SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY (a) Remove the 2 bolts and rear shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly. |
