DESCRIPTION The airbag sensor assembly consists of a deceleration sensor, safing sensor, drive circuit, diagnosis circuit, ignition control, etc. If the airbag sensor assembly receives signals from the deceleration sensor, it determines whether or not the SRS should be activated. DTC B1160, B1161, B1162, B1163, B1164, B1165, B1166, B1167 is stored when a malfunction is detected in the airbag sensor assembly.
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT HINT: If a DTC (except B1160, B1161, B1162, B1163, B1164, B1165, B1166 or B1167) is output at the same time as B1160, B1161, B1162, B1163, B1164, B1165, B1166 or B1167, repair the malfunction from that DTC first. PROCEDURE

NOTICE: If only DTC B1160, B1161, B1162, B1163, B1164, B1165, B1166 or B1167 is output, do not clear the DTCs. Replace the airbag sensor assembly. HINT: If any DTCs other than DTC DTC B1160, B1161, B1162, B1163, B1164, B1165, B1166 and B1167 are also output, troubleshoot those DTCs first.
