INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 1. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL MOUNTING BRACKET (a) Install the No. 2 instrument panel mounting bracket with the bolt. Torque: 10 N·m {102 kgf·cm, 7 ft·lbf} 2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY for Column Shift Type: Click here for Floor Shift Type: Click here 3. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (a) Check that the ignition switch is off. (b) Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal. CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
(d) Install the lower No. 2 instrument panel airbag assembly with the 3 bolts. Torque: 10 N·m {102 kgf·cm, 7 ft·lbf} 4. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL Click here 5. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Click here 6. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH HINT: Use the same procedure described for the LH side. Click here 7.
