REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE PULL TOP ANTENNA POLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

2. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:

After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (See page ).

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See page ).

4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) for Column Shift Type:

5. REMOVE ANTENNA ORNAMENT

(a) Remove the antenna ornament as shown in the illustration.

6. REMOVE SIDE STEP ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Side Step)

7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MUDGUARD RH (w/ Front Fender Mudguard)

8. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH

9. REMOVE FENDER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect each connector.

(b) Remove the bolt and detach the 5 clamps.

(c) Remove the bolt and fender antenna assembly.
