Toyota Tundra Service Manual: Rear Power Window LH does not Operate with Rear Power Window Switch LH

DESCRIPTION

If the rear LH side manual UP/DOWN function does not operate, there may be a malfunction in the rear switch LH, the rear motor LH, the master switch, or the harness or connector.

WIRING DIAGRAM

NOTICE:

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

1.	CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR SWITCH LH - BATTERY)

(a) Disconnect the switch connector.

*a	Front view of wire harness connector (to Rear Switch LH)

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
O11-3 (B) - Body ground	Ignition switch ON	11 to 14 V

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

2.	INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH (See page ).

(b) Inspect the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH (See page ).

REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH

3.	CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR SWITCH LH - REAR MOTOR LH)

(a) Disconnect the O11 switch connector.

(b) Disconnect the O9 motor connector.

Standard Resistance:

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

4.	INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH (See page ).

(b) Inspect the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH (See page ).

REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH

5.	CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MASTER SWITCH - REAR SWITCH LH)

(a) Disconnect the N2 master switch connector.

(b) Disconnect the O11 switch connector.

Standard Resistance:

REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
