Toyota Tundra Service Manual: XM Tuner Antenna Disconnected (B15FE,B15FF)

DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction occurs in the satellite radio antenna which is connected to the navigation receiver assembly.

NOTICE:

After replacing the stereo component tuner assembly of vehicles subscribed to pay-type satellite radio broadcasts, XM radio ID registration is necessary.

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK CONNECTION OF SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA CABLE

(a) Check if the satellite radio antenna cable is securely connected to the stereo component tuner assembly.

OK:

Satellite radio antenna cable is securely connected.

NG

SECURELY CONNECT SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA CABLE

OK

2.

CHECK SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

(a) Replace the satellite radio antenna assembly with a known good one (See page ).

(b) Clear the DTCs (See page ).

(c) Check for DTCs (See page ).

OK:

No DTCs are output.

END (SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA ASSEMBLY IS DEFECTIVE)

CHECK STEREO COMPONENT TUNER ASSEMBLY

(a) Replace the stereo component tuner assembly with a known good one.
