Toyota Tundra Service Manual: All Power Windows does not Operate with Door Key Cylinder

DESCRIPTION

When the driver door key cylinder (key linked switch) is turned, the following occurs: 1) the door lock motor receives the signal; 2) the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) sends the signal to the power window regulator motors; and 3) the power window motors are activated.

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

(a) Check for LIN communication system DTCs related to the power window control system.

OK:

LIN communication system DTCs are not output.

NG

GO TO LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

OK

2.

CHECK FOR DTC (B2312)

(a) Check if DTC B2312 is output (See page ).

OK:

DTC B2312 is not output.

NG

GO TO DTC (B2312)

OK

3.

READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (DOOR LOCK SWITCH)

(a) Use the Data List to check if the door lock switch is functioning properly.

CHECK POWER WINDOW MANUAL FUNCTION

(a) Check that the manual UP/DOWN function using the master switch can operate the front door power window LH and RH (See page ).
