DESCRIPTION When the forward recognition camera is replaced with a new one, the new forward recognition camera attempts to store the country specification information received from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU). If the forward recognition camera cannot store the country specification information, DTC C1AAA is stored.

HINT: This DTC is stored when the country specification information stored in the forward recognition camera and that stored in the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) do not match. If the forward recognition camera or main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) has been replaced, check if a forward recognition camera or main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from another vehicle was used. HINT: The forward recognition camera communicates with the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via CAN communication. Confirm that the CAN communication system is functioning normally before proceeding. (a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. (b) Turn the ignition switch to ON. (c) Turn the Techstream on. (d) Enter the following menus: Chassis / LKA/LDA / Trouble Codes. (e) Check for DTCs.
